Craftsmanship, materiality, authenticity and experimenting are but a few things<\/p>\n
that are greatly important to me, in my professional and also in my personal life.<\/p>\n
But most importantly passion and care for the work I do, whatever it may be.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I have trained as a dress maker\/tailor, with an advanced degree in garment construction and cutting.<\/p>\n
With a passion for storytelling and an interest in the movement of costume and body in performing arts,<\/p>\n
I went on to work in theatre as a costume maker and freelance costume designer for several years.<\/p>\n
During that time, I have developed a keen interest in interdisciplinary work, which lead me to London<\/p>\n
to finish an MA in Scenography.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0One of the best decisions and a most challenging, exhausting and<\/p>\n
satisfying experience!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Back in Switzerland I now work part time at the Academy of Art and Design,<\/p>\n
Institute Fashion Design, Basel, as Workroom Manager\/Supervisor,<\/p>\n
specialist teacher for garment construction and textile theory.<\/p>\n

Working from Switzerland and the UK, \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I\u2019m also a freelance costume designer and scenographer, hand pleater, collaborator……<\/p>\n
